Zajímavé, nebudu to komentovat - toto mi právě přišlo emailem... hlavně mě pobavil server s názvem Praha! Milé, ne?
Code-Name Updates
We are going to pursue a new strategy and approach for client code-names that better reflects the timeless Windows value proposition: “enabling users to achieve their goals and pursue their passions“. We enable their view through the world of computing. Each release will further that value for users. Therefore, our code-names will be cities/locations in the world known for great “vistas”.
For the release formerly known as “Blackcomb,” we have a new code name, to align with our overall strategy and to recognize that the vision has evolved. That new name is Windows Code Name “Vienna“.
With this change in code-naming, our working dates and code-names for the releases following Windows Vista are:
(NOTE: these are our working assumptions that we will vet as we go through the planning process)
- Windows Vista SP 1/Windows Server “Longhorn” – Q2 2007
- Windows Vista “Fiji” Release (formerly “Client 07”) – H2 2007
- Windows Server Code Name “Prague” (R2 release of Windows Server codename “Longhorn”) – 2008
- Windows Code Name “Vienna”(formerly “Blackcomb”) – 2009
